I said it was easier to win a 9Year tournament with an average level than with a good level, it's partialy wrong.
Today, 40% of the tournaments were won by the best player of the day (not necessarely the best ranked player).

@eLLioTT, thank you for the interesting analysis! However, the main reason I can no longer be the best ranked player in Hitori according to the annual and monthly statistics is that you need to solve puzzles every day to keep your score high and, thus, keep the first place. I solved all Hitori available in the database quite a while ago, and now I can only get a couple of points whenever a new hitori is generated :(

Thank you very much! This is very useful information. good Да, к сожалению, нынешняя система форы равняет всех под одну гребёнку. Кто-то решал пол года какие-то задачи и захотел (уже имея огромный опыт) поиграть в турнире. И всех закономерно разнёс с большой форой. И такие ситуации не редкость. Система не учитывает реальный опыт игроков, а считает сухие цифры.

понимаю желание лидеров быть всегда на высоте и получать приличные выигрыши. Но что делать тем, у кого нет достаточно опыта или в силу других причин вообще никогда не будет таким быстрым, а посоревноваться хочется? КАждый раз проигрывать тоже грустно, так хоть с форой хотя бы есть шанс немного порадоваться.
Дорогие лидеры! Никто не умаляет ВАших заслуг, но можно, хоть я не соображаю так быстро и уже никогда не буду соображать в силу возраста, иногда будем тоже выигрывать, чтоб не потерять интерес к турнирам и вы имели возможность выигрывать наши монетки?))))

Да выигрыши вообще не важны. Победы хочется. Занять 1 место, это весь смысл любого спорта. Но в нескольких турнирах шанс на победу у лидеров равнялся нулю, потому что игроки с низким рейтингом играли гораздо сильнее своего рейтинга, но при этом имели одинаково большую фору.

Thanks to the handicap system, I've won a lot of tournaments I should have never won. Including 2 solitaires one.
I was happy to get the price, but I also felt unlegitimate.
For exemple, it's a little bit sad that @corsica didn't get any price yesterday (especially the Memory one), but we knew the rules before the start.
Anyway, I must admit that most often, on "5 rounds / 2 points per rank handicap tournaments" if you play perfectly and get all the points, you win (or are at least well refunded).
And I quite like this system : with training, new players can win a lot of tournamants at the beginnig, and are more likely to keep playing on tournaments.

А я вообще пыталась выиграть не монеты и призы, а красивый кубок на страницу, но пролетела везде fly

Может все турниры сделать двойными (для сильных и слабых), а если админ решит и слабым победителям дать кубки в таких вот особых случаях, тогда пусть будет двойной комплект наград. Тогда уж точно будете соревноваться на равных :) нам же, слабеньким, тоже хочется поучаствовать в турнирах, хоть и нет никаких надежд на победу.

или делать много турниров и начинать пораньше...глядишь, в каком то будет участвовать меньше передовиков)) А то обещали на День Рожденья турниры целый день, а в итоге они начинаются в 16 часов... по нашему в 23 часа, т.е. идти будут всю ночь)) ну и ладно, меньше денег проиграю))))))))

На самом деле выиграть примерно у пятерки игроков нереально (передовики не пропускают турниры) , остальные все равно останутся за бортом, единственный выход сделать для них отдельно ignat , а остальные действительно будут тогда иметь шанс на выигрыш.
